Thread: Stuck at Black Screen with Cursor after Installing Ubuntu

hello, , given!

trying install ubuntu 12.04.1 64 bit (had windows, used gparted delete partition), however, after installation completes , reboot, stops @ black screen cursor (can't myself) , nothing.

i'v tried reinstalling again, , come same results.

after looking around bit, think fact boot files far start of disk, unsure if is, or how fix it.

i'm running ubuntu off of usb drive used install it.
