Thread: Wireless network allows only https connections?

today connected public network @ university. network apparently allows connections sites https protocol. every connection http sites denied. example, way able google not able visit resulting sites. can connection limitation network-imposed or have settings of computer? if yes; how / can change these settings. @ home have no trouble visiting http websites.

i'm using ubuntu 12.04. (gnome). if of relevance: wireless network called "imac x", therefore may originate imac computer , not proper router.

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: "Broken" background image with Super Key
