Thread: Creating desktop application shortcuts/launchers on Ubuntu 12.04 or 12.10

at following site says "right-click on desktop background , choose: "create launcher.

when on ubuntu 12.10, not see line says "create launcher".

there missing on ?

thanks.

just find icon want in dash, , drag-and-drop desktop or launcher.

if want use old familiar "create launcher" utility, need start commandline:

gnome-desktop-item-edit desktop --create-new

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: "Broken" background image with Super Key
