Problems with positioning (Was: Conflict of Presentation)

the following page has:

1. drop down menu set <ul> <li>

2. accordian created using dreamweavers jquery ui.

 

when viewed on chrome, safari and  firefox, dropdown menu gets corrupted , presents behind, instead of on top of accordian.

how can fix this?

you've got multiple doc types, <html>, <head>, , <body> tags in markup.  have conflicting charsets.  should stick utf-8 in html5 docs.  first step cross browser rending using clean code.  see details below:

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: "Broken" background image with Super Key
