Thread: Install nfs-common on a PXE thick client

hello,

need install nfs-common on thick client there problems, debian client installed debootstrap , nfs-common chroot. if boot client following error message:

code:

rpc.statd: unable register (statd, 1, udp)

after googleing bit installed rpcbin installation throw out error:

code:

rcpbind: cannot open '/var/run/rpcbind/rpcbind.xdr' file reading, error 2 (no such file or directory)

my fstab

proc            /proc         proc    defaults 0 0  /dev/nfs        /             nfs     defaults 0 0  none            /tmp          tmpfs   defaults 0 0  none            /var/tmp      tmpfs   defaults 0 0  none            /media        tmpfs   defaults 0 0  none            /var/log      tmpfs   defaults 0 0

if add fstab

code:

 none            /var/run      tmpfs   defaults 0 0

the error occure well, file rcpbing not stored, right?
