How can I embed a HTML document onto my webpage?

what trying do: trying make image has links urls different parts of image.

what have done far: have built photoshop image embed on webpage, following instructions offered many online forums, cannot embed isn't url.

firstly, sliced image, adding url's , alt tage etc each slice. did:

file > save web > (prest: jpeg high) > save > (entered file name) format: html , iamges > save

when locate file saved it, has been saved chrome html document, can't embed on website, using 'embed code' tool use. presume because doesn't begin http:// ?

here html document have made: file:///c:/users/daniel/desktop/uk%20map%20interactive/afternoon/uk-map-locations.html

(if can see this) image want , links working it's getting onto existing webpage.

other pages have seen have talked iamge maps, take using slice tool better trying acheive?

any suggestions/help appreciated.

one: users can't see links on local desktop. have upload files somewhere. two: images don't contain links. urls meta information build around image in html. three: because of previous point, whether use sliced images or image map doesn't matter, if have no way of inserting information native html structure of web pages. if @ all, open html file in suitable editor dreamweaver (or basic text editor) , copy&paste web page sourcve code, you'd still have upload image(s). rest can't know. have not provided link web site or told hosting provider use. description sounds 1 of "free" providers restrict user's options customize bare minimum , rest based on templates , plastered advertising. in case, solution not in photoshop , have read on web design basics, html, css , al lthat on more general level or review hosting provider's guides on how set up.
