Thread: OK to use Synaptic markings from Ubuntu 10.04 in Xubuntu 12.04 install? Problems?

hope alright do.

posted question few days ago backing backing synaptic markings , bringing them forward in new install, on @ askubuntu.com, because had read doing in 1 of threads, came doing google search. first ever question there. received no responses.

can link this post there here, ask same question?

edit:

wondering things like:

1. may bringing forward older packages, new install, might not want older version of.

2. looking forward clean install of xubuntu 12.04, clean things me, , give me fresh xubuntu experience, , wondering if might, "muddy waters", speak.

3. of apps , dependencies, may not want play nice xubuntu 12.04.

stuff ...

i have not done u x markings, repositories think same. seem me risk bloating new install.

have used markings in pass , found discrepancies rejected. not doing real damage, leaves clean-up afterwards. people use scripts reinstalls app's , configurations. don't have links handy scripts, take here:

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: lower arc in openoffice draw

hello have openoffice draw, 3.2 think. how can make lower arc text? right if click on 'lower arc' while text highlighted word merely goes upside down , backwards. not business cards!!! do use fontwork gallery (icon @ bottom of ooo windows)? works fine me aoo 3.4.1 on quetzal. can upload here sample file?
