Audition 2.0

we use adobe audition 2.0 , wondering if possible record audio directly in .mp3 format instead of recording in .wav format , converting .mp3

no.  audition works natively in form of wave file.

 

in case, @ risk of telling things know, i'd never want record in lossy format mp3.  because it's frame based system, it's somewhere between difficult , impossible more basic editing native mp3 (there simple programmes can trim length or change level that's it.  serious, file gets converted wave then, when save mp3, compression errors multiply.  errors cumulative have unusable file.

Error 400 - Photoshop services are not available

After Effects error:creating resource file on Windows
