Thread: Can't get internal Interl HDA mic working on 12.04

full disclosure - i'm trying on elementaryos luna (beta) based on 12.04 , have tried same in 12.04 liveusb same results (aka no joy).

have dell adamo 13 intel hda sound card. internal mic isn't working after install / liveusb boot , no amount of fiddling alsamixer in terminal or installing dkms .deb has fixed it.
