CS5.5 with Behringer mixer/ASIO and latency...

i have aa 5.5 , behringer usb mixer. installed behringer "highspeed asio sudio mixer" software. allows me select my  "system performance" corresponding latency (normal, rapid, highspeed, etc). i'm finding latency can go low 16ms... thing is, cpu intel i7 3.4 ghz 12 gb of  ram. crazy think should able down @ least "rapid (7)? preferably "highspeed (5).

audition doesn't have impact on latency if you're trying monitor using round trip via computer--and 16ms pretty result if you're working way.  biggest issue size of buffers being used asio driver , buffer size, in turn determined overall performance of system.

 

depending on behringer mixer have, better way of working might use aux or effects send provide monitoring, avoiding round trip via computer.  it'll depend on model have whether possible--but form of "direct hardware" monitoring better trying go via computer.

Error 400 - Photoshop services are not available

After Effects error:creating resource file on Windows
