Thread: How to make the PowerButton to do ShutDown

how make powerbutton shutdown
when press power button , want ubuntu 12.4 shutdown , have installed on external hd usb in case matters

you may need install dconf editor that.

1. issue command terminal:

code:
 sudo apt-get install dconf-tools
2. once installed, dconf editor in unity dash typing dconf editor then
3. scroll org > gnome > settings-daemon > plugins > power
4. on right pane, select desired action, shutdown, button-power

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action
