welcome forums.
boot repair isn't in main repositories (although i've heard there plans include in future releases).
can add yann's boot repair ppa following command. (yann boot repair's developer.)
then should able install boot-repair.code:sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair sudo apt-get update
note: if you're using 12.10, it's been changed apt-add-repository instead of add-apt-repository.
apparently, case beta versions.
