Thread: Ati 4870 radeon driver blank screen after resume

i've tried several solutions issue, i'm having no luck.

issue recent, , not sure might causing it.

issue:

have @ 4870 graphics card on asus p6t motherboard , non overclocked i7 920 processor.

i'm using open source radeon driver.

if boot "cold" start, seems works fine.

use heavily suspend/resume capabilities.

happening machine wakes fine suspend/hibernation, works fine around 5 minutes , hangs:
screens (i have dual display) go black, keyboard stops responding, , have hard reset up. times happens again hard reset, , clear things i'll have power cycle completely.

i'm using 3.2.0-32 kernel:

linux kecortex 3.2.0-32-generic #51-ubuntu smp wed sep 26 21:33:09 utc 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 gnu/linux

, using ubuntu's radeon driver , x-org edger's ppa driver (more recent). issue happens both versions.

Error 400 - Photoshop services are not available

After Effects error:creating resource file on Windows

hi   i have problem set of plugins developing. have 20 different plugins. after apply 10th plugin, gives following error on windows (cs6):   after effects error:creating resource file "....aex" ( 3 :: 0 )   i can have many instances of same plugin once have total of 10 different error comes up   one thing being enabled in plugin flag: pf_outflag_keep_resource_open   is culprit?   thanks in advance donj More discussions in After Effects SDK adobe
