Thread: Can't load ubuntu 11.10 from grub after upgrading

hey everyone, newbie linux, running dual boot windows 7 on samsung netbook.

started installing ubuntu 10.10 (maverick meerkat) , went fine; great (runs more smoothly windows 7 on netbook). after while upgraded 11.04 (natty narwhal) had run on low-graphics session every time, if not wouldn't leave purple ubuntu screen.
upgraded 11.10 (oneiric ocelot), , cannot past purple screen, , have not found way leave grub (i haven't found way @ least run in low-graphics mode).

/ codes? thank you!

users jumping 12.04 since has long term support.

older versions newer kernels incorporated video kernel. need settings nomodeset boot , install proprietary drivers if nvidia.

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: "Broken" background image with Super Key
