How do I join 2 clips in the timeline so that they "snap" together?

this very, simple answer, cannot work right. here's situation.

 

i trimmed clip. there gaping hole in timeline. sure, drag other after until matches , plays continously 1 previous. however, divided clip multiple clips , if solution have drag following 1 before it....for each one!

 

so guess question 2-fold. how select multiple clips (everything after cut?)...and make them match clip before "gaping hole", there not blank footage couple seconds?

clink , drag on middle (where name is) of the clip after gab, selects clips downstream.

Error 400 - Photoshop services are not available

After Effects error:creating resource file on Windows
