What is a plug in?

i completed downloading adobe flash player 12.  did have adobe flash player 9 on notebook.  last down load recommended in order me document college course taking.  did computer check, , got green checkmark system , browser, failed on flash.  there reference flash player not having adobe plug in.  , how on notebook.  need plug in test assessmnet portion of course.  help

flash player activex (internet explorer)

flash player plug-in (all other browsers)

flash player (mac os x)

 

those installers "plug-ins".

a "plug-in" component installs part of application, filter in photoshop. it's not full application, "helper" things full application when "called to".

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: "Broken" background image with Super Key
