Thread: Error when installing Ubuntu (couldn't read file)

hi,
i'm trying install kubuntu on new laptop.
first used gparted rid of old partitions, , create ones wanted.
next, insert kubuntu livecd.
message "error: prefix not set", grub loader.
picking option here leads message "error: couldn't read file", load of verbose, nothing.
i've used same disc install on machine, don't think that's problem.
ideas?

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: "Broken" background image with Super Key
