How do I split the dimensions of the anchor point?

hello everyone,

 

i have logo trying animate; want start tight on small portion of it, scanning across surface , pull reveal in entirety, while maintaining smooth, natural motion. keyframing anchor point , scale. however, there no bezier handles in spatial graph editor keyframes of anchor point. this, discovered, because properties mulitple linked dimensions not allow modify beziers (per forum [ http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/202/883236 ]).

 

so went seperate dimensions, button grayed out. there can do, or doing wrong?

separate dimensions not available anchor point. other option add 2 (or 3 3d layer) expression sliders , tie each axis simple expression this:

x = effect("slider x")("slider"); y = effect("slider y")("slider"); [x, y] 

i renamed sliders slider x , slider y , applied them layer. animate slider values.

 

i find easiest way trying make layer 3d, add camera, , animate camera position. movements easier make 'natural'.
