Thread: adding wallpapers to system 12.10

i have installed 12.10 on dell mini far working well, have done tweaks know how , i'd try more tweaking. since still new ubuntu wanted ask before jumping in.
want add more wallpapers pc know how can put new wallpapers in same folder current system ones ? them change current system ones do. ,jpgs work? , there size limit on pics can use?.

as far know way have been able have wallpapers change based on custom folder using application called wallch.

can install through ubuntu software center searching "wallch", or alternatively can through command line:

sudo apt-get install wallch

and yes .jpeg format should work, , there no size limit.
