Illustrator Hangs Opening Existing Files

hi

 

we having issue cs4 , cs6 couple of users using windows 7 64bit. users using cs4 on windows xp 32 bit.

 

the program seems open ok , user able create, save , open new files, issue seems when users try open files created. behavior see files take between 5 , 10 mins open (even if stored locally) , programs hangs when try files.

 

the using same hardware, difference being os has been migrated windows 7 64 bit. cs4 , cs6 installed cleanly onto machines.the users have same issue both cs4 , cs6 existing files.

 

i have never used software before complete novice go easy questions.

 

just wondering if there obvious checked causing this?

i believe experiencing same issue, running cc versions of illustrator & indesign on win7 64bit.  did find answer one?

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: "Broken" background image with Super Key
