Thread: Booting USB drive from GRUB menu

my usb drive, ubuntulive installed, not show in grub. apparently have grub2 installed because "root" not command, when try follow guides.

should grub recognize usb?

need bit more information on partition/distribution grub loaded on , how created ubuntulive usb.

normally, boot live usb distro (created unetbootin ) set bios boot usb before internal drive. no grub required.

there's lots of info various methods , distributions etc. on pendrivelinux web site.
