Cropping to "front image" no longer works in CC

has been able use front image crop option in cc? worked in older versions, no longer (running version 14.1.2 x64 in windows). when crop image use front, go other images have open, photoshop doesn't recognize cropping dimensions. offers crop small amount. below screen shots of happens. bug or feature?

1. select crop tool .

2. (optional) set resample options in options bar.

 

to resample image based on dimensions , resolution of image, open other image, select crop tool, , click

front image in options bar. make image want crop active.

 

resampling while cropping uses default interpolation method set in general preferences.

note:

these features introduced in creative cloud release photoshop cs6.

 

updates crop tool include numerous bug fixes , enhancements, including:

  • front image , new presets in aspect ratio menu.
  • clicking double-arrow icon changes crop orientation swapping width andheight values. icon replaces rotate crop box button.
  • choosing w x h x resolution aspect ratio menu displays resolution field in options bar , auto-fills width , height values.
  • clicking clear button clears values in width , height fields in option bar. if displayed, value in resolution field cleared.
  • the keyboard shortcut front image has changed f i both crop tool , theperspective crop tool.

Error 400 - Photoshop services are not available

After Effects error:creating resource file on Windows
