why paintstroke doubles making mask layer

photoshop cs5

 

when painting mask layer white /or black in part of image,

i cant paint 1 time.

that means when raise finger mouse , want continue painting mask - create kind of double stroke

if hit , area have been painting before.

in way impossibel make precise mask.

i cant come doing wrong.

 

first -make new layer - invert mask - choose brush - using x changing white/black -

 

hope 1 have , idea ?

this happened me once after spilled tea on keyboard. had replace keyboard.

 

one idea: check mouse , keyboard connections.

 

it might faulty keyboard, or faulty mouse, or faulty connection of either keyboard or mouse computer. -- (it sounds you're holding down shift-key between strokes.)

 

also, if you're using usb hub between keyboard and/or mouse , computer, plug keyboard , mouse directly compuuter.
