Thread: Best setup to wirelessly control my desktop?
i'm planning on setting xps desktop can control wirelessly, i'm not sure best way go doing it. need have windows on can run folding@home, i'm won't in physical proximity of computer while, need way monitor , control system through ssh. more familiar gnu's commands windows' commands, if possible i'd able control using commands familiar with. need basic functionality like:
- modify, create, delete files , directories
- start , kill process
- install , remove software
- change system settings, directly through registry if necessary
current ideas cygwin, or virtualbox. if use cygwin, able of this, wine's command prompt, or more dosbox it's isolated rest of os , can't interact it? if use virtualbox (windows host, either ubuntu or maybe debian guest), possible/safe control windows through shared folders?
what's best way go controlling windows ubuntu?
