Thread: Probably an easy fix - xorg file problem
so have 2 monitors. 1 lg w1952 1440x900 (the system calling 1 dfp-0), other viewsonic ve910-3series, autodetect claims it's 1280x1024 (system calls crt-1, though it's not crt).
when boot up, message.
do have ideas why configured settings aren't working?code:could not apply stored configuration monitors none of selected modes compatible possible modes: trying modes crtc 354 crtc 354: trying mode 2720x1024@50hz output @ 2464x900@50hz (pass 0) crtc 354: trying mode 2720x1024@50hz output @ 2464x900@50hz (pass 1)
here's clue may have figured out, when @ xorg file (below), never specifies resolution 1440x900 monitor. root of problem? tips rewriting file appreciated.
