How to add more layers when there is enough free memory (ram) ?

hello,

 

when create image resolution of 3840x2880 pixels, can create 3 layers.

 

however, understand, should able create more layers that, @ least 10 without problems.

see simple calculation :

3840x2880 = 11 059 200pixels

i don't know how photoshop touch stores properties of each pixel, if had create similar application, store r,g,b,a value each pixel of each layer.

so 1 layer take 11 059 200 * (1 + 1 + 1 + 1) = 44 236 800bytes or around 45mb

on tablet have 2go of total ram , around 1go of free ram when running photoshop touch

if create image resolution of 3840x2880 pixels , 3 layers, layers should take approximately  44236800bytes * 3 = 132 710 400bytes or around 133mb, , not allowed create layer there still 1gb of free ram...

why ? able create @ least 5 layers , take around 222mb of memory...

 

i hope add option set amount of memory use program can create more layers, else ridiculous limitation.
