hello everybody,

when using gnupg (gpg) symmetrically encrypt file default algorithm cast5.

when using gpg evolution send encrypted emails, actual message encrypted symmetrical algorithm , asymmetrical encryption (public/private keys) used encrypt key symmetrical encryption. question is: symmetrical algorithm encrypts message? cast5 well?

thank

when use:
~$: gpg --edit-key keyid

can use:
gpg> pref
list order of preferred algorithms key. keys examined, other people's public keys, preferred algorithm aes256 (s9).

use set order :
gpg> setpref s10 s9 s8 s7 s3 s2 h8 h2 h9 h10 h11 z2 z3 z1
