What's a good learning tool to transfer a object from one layer to the background layer ?

i have multiple shots of group of people, there 1 person blinking in every shot.  i'd select best shot of group background, , replace individual blinking better version 1 of other shots.  recommend learning tool (video or text) lead me step step through process.  level of experience:  new using layers.  thank you.

How to Grab email address from webform and insert into form action

Thread: "Broken" background image with Super Key
