Thread: 12.04 freezes during boot

hi
have strange problem can't find solution to.

yesterday evening booted new computer ubuntu 12.04 , checked airline tickets, turned computer off. nothing strange, no warnings, or error messages (as far know).

morning tried turn on ubuntu froze before login screen had finished loading. saw graphics , noticed hadn't finished loading , couldn’t move mouse pointer.

after giving computer few minutes without change rebooted it. can't load log-in screen. freezes somewhere between grub , log in screen (dual boot, windows seems works).

suggestions other live-cd->save stuff->clean install?

computer fujitsu laptop , used ubuntu windows installer 2 days ago (new computer) , ran updates should date regarding kernel , such.

can boot safe mode option in grub menu?

if yes, can check if update made graphics driver yesterday?

After Effects error:creating resource file on Windows

hi   i have problem set of plugins developing. have 20 different plugins. after apply 10th plugin, gives following error on windows (cs6):   after effects error:creating resource file "....aex" ( 3 :: 0 )   i can have many instances of same plugin once have total of 10 different error comes up   one thing being enabled in plugin flag: pf_outflag_keep_resource_open   is culprit?   thanks in advance donj More discussions in After Effects SDK adobe

Error 400 - Photoshop services are not available
