how can download file server using commands??

want have download file server @ /home/krishna/links in server

servers ip 10.40.70.68
ip 10.40.70.51

user id in server mohan
paswd <snip>

how can obtain links file using commands??
suggestions please

which protocol? ssh, ftp, (http)?
